  23. That's it!  PPI.SCR contains "set input echo on".
  24. Thanks Mark.  I had looked in the *.ini
  25. files but forgot to check ppi.scr.  Sorry for
  26. the aggravation over this.

  28. In searching for the echo command I thought
  29. again about not using mskermit.ini and
  30. mscustom.ini; ie.  start my script with "msk316
  31. -f sr.scr" rather than "msk316 take sr.scr".  Of
  32. course some of the actions in the *.ini files
  33. would have to be copied over to my scripts.  I
  34. had refrained from this in the past because
  35. picking out portions of the code and rewriting
  36. in def ...{...} notation is not likely to be
  37. easy.  Nevertheless I am now considering again
  38. this course of action.  Does anyone have any
  39. particular warnings before I jettison the *.ini
  40. files?

  42. Also, has a kerlite been issued since the 3.1.4
  43. release?
